Conference gave perspectives on housing & transportation
WEA members and guests from around the region attended this week's conference about the intersection of housing and transportation.
The conference featured national known speakers Carl Guardino from the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and Mariia Zimmerman from MZ Strategies.
Both gave a national perspective on what other cities are facing in terms of housing and transportation planning.
Other local speakers/panelists shared information about corridor development, community health, public investment impacts, and lessons learned in urban growth boundary expansion areas.
WEA would like to thank its sponsors for their support - Metro, Kaiser Permanente, TriMet, Washington County, the Home Builders Association, AKS Engineering, Angelo Planning Group, Community Housing Fund, Community Partners for Affordable Housing, and Reach Community Development.
